THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ Triassarion (22mm, 8.61 g, 11h). [ΓΑΙΟ] OV ΜΑΞΙMΙΝΟC, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; star to right / ΚΟΙΝ[Ο Ν ΘЄCCΑΛΩ], Victory driving triga right; Γ (mark of value) below. Burrer, MA-G 43 var. (no star); Rogers 119 var. (same); BCD Thessaly I –; BCD Thessaly II 984 (same obv. die). Good Fine, dark brown patina, flan flaw on the reverse.
